Javascript finally works. But it isn't the shy girl who grew up to be beautiful. No, it grew up in Java's shadow with a massive, massive Napoleon complex. Javascript probably still winces at "script" in its name, and gets compared to all the various dynamic languages that treat it as an unwanted kid brother (yep, I'm looking at you Ruby and Python), even though it's got similarly powerful syntax.

Javascript is the kid brother who grew up in somebody's shadow, wound up working in somebody else's shadow, and eventually got tough and crazy enough to break off on its own. And now it wants to get even...
